Mario Cardone

Founder Autentico Hotels

Mario Cardone has worked in the tourism industry for more than 25 years and was one of the forerunners of technology applied to travel in Italy, contributing in the early 1990s to the arrival of Sabre on the Old Continent, where he was managing director for Italy and general manager for Southern Europe for a decade. He then served as managing director of Pellicano Hotels before founding, in 2015, the Autentico Hotels network, an exclusive club created to help family hotel companies remain competitive in the global luxury market. He is a strategic consultant for some of the most important 5* establishments in our country. An expert in tourism distribution systems, revenue management and sales & marketing strategies, he teaches marketing and distribution strategies at the Management and Tourism Master Program at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Edoardo Cosciani Cunico

Director of Sesta Terra

After several years of experience in the event organisation sector, since 2017 he and his family have been working on the Sesta Terra project, where he is in charge of designing the innovative tourism product and positioning it on the market, as well as developing relationships with sector operators. Sesta Terra started operations in 2019 and since then, Edoardo Cosciani Cunico has served as front office manager and later as facility director.

Maria Lalia

Executive manager of Chervò Golf Hotel Spa & Resort San Vigilio

Maria Lalia's story is one of passion and commitment to this dynamic and challenging industry. Born in Salerno in 1985, she became interested in the world of tourism during her university studies and did an internship in the sales department of a 5-star hotel on the Amalfi Coast. After completing her studies, she left for Germany and from there her travels did not stop for several years, working at the Hotel Ramada on Lake Garda and in Milan as a foreign salesperson for the German-speaking markets, Turkey and China. For the past six years, she has worked at Chervò Golf Hotel Spa & Resort San Vigilio, where she began as resident manager and is now executive manager for the entire hotel.

Lucrezia Martinengo

Trade account manager Royal Commission for AlUla

Lucrezia Martinengo is co-owner and board member of Martinengo & Partners Communication. She works as trade account manager for the Royal Commission for AlUla. A graduate in Marketing Communication, she is fluent in English, Spanish and French and has ten years' experience in integrated communication: marketing, public relations, event management, advertising and business relations.

Antonio Nicoletti

General Manager of the Basilicata Territorial Promotion Agency

Engineer and PhD in Urban and Territorial Planning, for about twenty years he has been working on sustainability and innovation in urban and territorial development processes, especially those characterised by the valorisation of the social, cultural and creative heritage. He is currently the general manager of the Basilicata Territorial Promotion Agency. From August 2015 to December 2019, he served as a manager on the staff of the mayor of Matera, with responsibilities related to strategic planning, urban innovation and management of funding related to the European Capital of Culture 2019 role. He has many years of experience in the management of complex projects, in particular with national and European funding in favour of public and private entities.

Gaetano Stea

Nicolaus Valtur group product & operations director

An expert on the dynamics of air and maritime transport, for many years Gaetano Stea has managed the commercial side of important foreign carriers and international shipping companies. Since the mid-90s he founded and managed a tour operator that inaugurated the season of charter flights from Southern Italy to the most important foreign destinations of the Mediterranean Sea. In 2014, he joined the Nicolaus group, initially managing the tour operator's transportation department, serving room distribution with the package system. In 2015, he took over as the group's commercial director and from October 2019 he moved into the role of product and operations director for the three Nicolaus group brands Valtur, Nicolaus Club and Raro, with the recent integration of the Turkish brand.
