River Tourism for Sustainable Development. The data from the first Touring Observatory on the Po.

05/10/21 h 17:00 - 18:00

The Po is not only the main Italian river but a real "integrating context" for topics and territories on which to build sustainable development for a very important but also very fragile area of our country. Agricultural and agro-industrial activity, the natural ecosystem and the landscape, the widespread presence of culture can find in tourism - and in particular in slow tourism, sport and local tourism - a factor of aggregation and local development able to accommodate and enhance the multiple identities of the Po areas. The Italian Touring Club, whose mission is to take care of Italy as a common good, presents the first Tourist Observatory on the Great River and will discuss it with the Po River Basin District Authority and Fondazione Cariplo.
