Wine Tourism, Can you Experience it even From the Sofa at Home? How Covid has changed the way we experience things

Covid has forced us to live typically sensory experiences, such as wine tastings, through video platforms, thus virtualizing the tasting experience. Cantine.wine has been able to take advantage of this opportunity by creating a marketplace where wineries can not only offer their experiences, but can sell their wines by combining them with an on-line or off-line experience.

 

How does it work? Those who wish to can book a visit, buy wines and choose whether to visit the vineyard in person afterwards or follow a web tasting from the comfort of their own sofa at home. 

 

Through the portal it is also possible to give these experiences as gifts or allow wineries to fully automate their processes and transport to simplify their work. This new service has already enabled many wineries to be visible even in the lockdown periods. 

 

We will be accompanied though this process of growth by Silvano Brescianini, EVP of Cantina Barone Pizzini and President of the Franciacorta Consortium, which has seen the birth of the "cantine.wine" project from the outset.
