Bit Talks program

From Very Close to Very Far

Right in the middle of a historic change of era and an unprecedented and never-ending situation of uncertainty, the 'Bit Talks' try to build a bridge to a more open time. They range from discovering what lies very close to one's everyday life - never-visited neighbourhoods of one's own city, the surroundings, spaces and waterways surrounding one's own province or region - to future supersonic possibilities of terrestrial and spatial mobility in 15 years time, and which are already well under way.

Within this temporal and spatial framework, very compact conversations (more than 90 workshops are planned) will address innovations for work, leisure, and their hybrids, innovations for cities and the natural areas of tomorrow and the time after that, and innovations for health, which has become a continuum. At the centre, constant granular data use stands out.

The swing of the pendulum involved in imagining today a trip in the coming months (we all trust that it will be possible, of course) therefore becomes a three-dimensional kaleidoscope for possibilities, perspectives, discoveries and explorations in places never seen and never imagined before.
