The International Travel Fair, known as Bit (Borsa Internazionale del Turismo) is an event that brings together trade operators from all over the world, a large audience of visitors, travel lovers, television reporters and press.

Sponsored by Fiera Milano, the most important player in the Exhibition Industry in Italy and one of the biggest in the world, Bit takes place every year, since 1980. Over the years Bit has been an international meeting point for decision makers, professionals, buyers, sharply outlined and selected, coming from different areas and industry fields. 
With more than 1.500 international and Italian Hosted Buyers, more than 2.000 participating companies and over 60.000 professional visitors, 2015 edition represented a clean break from the past years, introducing significant changes. Primarily, the segment division - MICE, LEISURE and LUXURY - a substantial space for OLTAs, and two brand new area, the first one dedicated to FOOD & WINE, aiming to promote Italian excellence in the world; the second one, Destination Sport, dedicated to the fast-growing active tourism, in 2015 this area have hosted more than 60 specialised exhibitors, 3 experiential areas and amazing shows.
 
Bit.2016 is even more open to the world and to changes. For the first time, through Bit.CHINA, there will be room for a debate on new opportunities for emerging markets. 
 
Bit.2016 will be held from 11th until 13th February 2O16 in the exhibition area of Rho Fiera Milano.
